The wait is over, the Ford Ranger is making its return to market early 2019, with manufacturing beginning late 2018. With the success of the F-Series trucks, Ford wants to add a mid-size pickup truck to their lineup. The Ford Ranger will offer FX4 Off-Road Package making any adventure fun and safe. It will be souped up with Trail Control™, Terrain Management System™, and Electronic Locking Rear Differential. Ford values safety extremely high, so they installed high-tech Driver Assist Technology which includes Blind Spot Information System, adaptive cruise control, Lane-Keeping System, and Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection.
Ford re-enters an already competitive mid-size pickup market but the Ford Ranger is up for the challenge. It offers a EcoBoost® turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder engine offering 310 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft of torque. The Ford Ranger comes with double-wishbone suspension and monotube shocks in order to make off-roading easier and more enjoyable. In this day and age people want to stay connected at all times and Ford wants to make sure that happens. The Ford Ranger comes with Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto, Ford+Alexa functionality and FordPass™, which is a WiFi hotspot that can connect up to 10 devices.
Ford is offering either a SuperCab, extended bed, and a SuperCrew, smaller bed but 4-door. Also, the Ford Ranger comes in three trim levels, which include the XL, XLT and Lariat.
