“The most fuel-efficient gas-powered midsize pickup in America” is the all-new 2019 Ford Ranger. Boasting an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 21 mpg city, 26 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined for 4×2 trucks and 20 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 22 mpg combined when configured as a 4×4. “This is the best-in-class EPA-estimated city fuel economy rating of any gasoline-powered four-wheel-drive midsize pickup and it is an unsurpassed EPA-estimated combined fuel economy rating.”, Ford says.
Fuel economy isn’t the only thing the Ranger has to be proud of. With Ford’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, it also delivers the most torque of any gas engine among the midsize pickup competition at 310 lb.-ft. and best-in-class towing capacity.
Ford has started production on the Ranger and you can expect them to start arriving at dealerships in January.
