Earlier this week, Ford posted a press release with some very interesting facts about the features customers are opting for when reserving their new 2021 Mustang Mach-E. Firstly, they announced that the reservations for the Mustang Mach-E ‘First Edition’ package are now officially full.

Customers who were lucky enough to secure theirs will get a few upgrades to what the Premium trim of the Mach-E includes. The Premium trim includes 19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels with high gloss black painted accents, LED projector headlamps, a hands-free power lift gate, and the panoramic glass roof. As for the interior, there’s multi-color ambient lighting, heated front seats and steering wheel, memory driver seat and mirrors, and a 10-speaker B&O audio system. The ‘First Edition’ gets all of those options in addition to all-wheel drive (AWD) and the extended range battery that increases the Mach-E’s miles between charges by 60 miles from the 210-mile-range of the AWD Standard trim-level.
When the Mach-E was unveiled last November, the GT Performance Edition was a big hit. So much so that almost 30% of current orders are GTs according to Ford. What sets the GT apart from the other options? 459 horsepower, 612 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-60 mph time in the mid three second range for starters. The GT also gets Magneride suspension and 20″ forged aluminum wheels.

Among some of the other figures that Ford released are that 80% of U.S. customers who have ordered a Mach-E are opting for an Extended Range Battery and about 55% of U.S. customers are opting for all-wheel drive. Also noted is that more than a quarter of all reservations are coming from California.
They’ve also broken down the popularity of each paint color with Carbonized Gray being the most popular totaling 38% of current orders.

We should should start seeing them hit dealerships early next year.
