Dodge Durango SRT Pursuit: Trackhawk 2.0?

We came across something we think you’ll all be interested in this week. A while back we posted about spotting the Hellcat badge on a Durango in one of the trailers for the latest Fast and Furious film. Well, it appears we were onto something because Dodge has in-fact created a one-off (for now) Dodge Durango with a 797-horsepower Hellcat Redeye engine swapped in. Apparently put together as a demo car of sorts, the project, which is nicknamed “Speed Trap”, is a Dodge Durango SRT Pursuit. That’s right. A police equipped vehicle with all-wheel drive and nearly 800-horsepower propelling it after the ‘bad guys’.

We can’t help but hope something like this gets put into the available lineup of Durango trims. There’s no word out on that yet but we sure can dream.
